Our spring edition has a special focus on supporting children and young people’s mental health. A number of members look at the role of paediatricians and how they can best prepare to ensure the mental health needs of young people are met.
Dr Ian Rodd shares his personal experience of young people’s mental health and explains how we all have a part to play. We hear about collaborative working in paediatric mental health and offer advice on working with young trans and gender questioning people.
Dr Lizzie Wortley looks at the gap between paediatrics and adult health services, while Dr Jen Townshend discusses improving outcomes for children and young people with asthma.
Our regular features include Ash’s Baking School with focaccia, whilst History Taking takes a look back at the history of mental health. We also hear from our new CEO and our Chair of the Board of Trustees.
