Children and young people are at risk of exploitation in a growing number of ways. To help keep them safe, health and social care professionals need to understand how this can happen, the different types of exploitation children may be exposed to, the signs to look out for and what can be done to minimise harm.

This eLearning module is intended to support a multi-agency audience to identify the features of exploitation of vulnerable children in a range of settings, and how these should be managed.
The course is aimed at paediatric trainees and consultants, nurses and Social Workers and will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete.

By the end of this eLearning, you will be able to:
- Identify the vulnerabilities that may lead to children and young people being at risk of different types of exploitation
- Recognise potential signs of exploitation that may present in health and care settings
- Outline the principles for managing exploitation of children in a multiagency approach including key actions to take
