If RCPCH cancels: for courses and events

RCPCH events and courses are constantly updated. While we endeavour to deliver the courses as advertised there may inevitably be occasions where we have to change content without prior notice or, in exceptional circumstances, to cancel an event.

In the case of a course cancellation delegates will be offered a full refund. RCPCH will not compensate for time spent travelling or away from the place of work.

Occasionally circumstances will arise which result in the need to cancel, reschedule or postpone an event, due to an unforeseen occurrence or act of God. When this is the case RCPCH shall assume no liability.

If RCPCH cancels: for RCPCH Conference

To cancel a place at the RCPCH Conference, you must email the Events team at events@rcpch.ac.uk. The same cancellation terms as above will apply.

RCPCH reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, amend or postpone the Conference as a result of circumstances not within its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God; epidemic or pandemic (which to avoid doubt includes Covid-19 and any variants or threats of variants thereof); any occurrence which presents a serious threat to the health of delegates; terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots; any law or action taken or restrictions imposed by a government or public authority; and/or collapse of buildings, fire, emergency or accident.  In the event RCPCH has to cancel the Conference in such circumstances, RCPCH will offer delegates a full refund but shall have no other liability in connection with the cancellation, rescheduling, amendment or postponement of the Conference as a result of circumstances not within its reasonable control.

If you are unable to attend the Conference due to a positive Covid-19 test result you will receive a full refund by writing to us at events@rcpch.ac.uk. You may be asked to provide documentation of your result before your refund is processed. We will not however be able to consider any reimbursement of travel or accommodation arrangements.

RCPCH will not compensate for time spent travelling or away from the place of work.

Refunds will not be provided in the case of scheduling or content changes.
