College roles

Applications are now open until 6 January for a host of roles, many of which support paediatric training - including to represent your fellow trainees, develop scenarios for our START assessment and review Portfolio Pathway applications. Plus two Officer roles.

We have an opening for a Training Advisor on the Community Child Health CSAC. You'll help improve and monitor standards of training and assessment for the sub-specialty, arrange CSAC progression meetings and advise trainees.

Want to represent your fellow trainees? Our Trainees Committee has a vacancy in Yorkshire and Humber. Our Trainee Research Network supports existing and new networks around the country, and we're recruiting in Wessex and West Midlands.

Our Wales Executive Committee is seeking regional reps from these Health Board Areas: Aneurin Bevan University, Cardiff and Vale University, Cwm Taf Morgannwg and Hywel Dda University. We also have a Wales vacancy in our LTFT Advisors Network.

Officers for Ireland and for London

These are exciting, challenging and rewarding roles. You will support members locally and work with our friendly staff teams on health policy and advocacy.

As either a consultant or SAS doctor, you can advise LTFT trainees in your region, review job plans and raise related issues to the College and/or school board. We have vacancies in KSS, Mersey, North West, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Severn, Thames Valley and Wales.

These are such important roles here at the College to support doctors on this career path. You will conduct and oversee the assessment of Portfolio Pathway applications, advising the College of recommended outcomes. We'll provide online training and plenty of support.

This Board oversees the scenario generations, development, delivery and quality assurance of our Specialty Trainee Assessment of Readiness for Tenure. You'll help develop our 'bank' of scenarios, including for the sub-specialties.
