England Area Officer (London) - volunteering opportunity

England Area Officers represent the views of members in their area across the College, including Council. The College is currently looking for a England Area Officer for London, who will represent North and South London.

England Area Officer (London) will seek and represent the views of members in London at Council and in other meetings, and will report back to members about Council discussions and RCPCH activities. The post holder will work with all members including SAS doctors, trainees and senior members in their region so their view can be represented at Council. 

Council is the representative body of College's membership. Chaired by the President, it includes representation from the English regions, the devolved nations, international members and demographic sections of College members (trainees, SAS doctors, specialty groups, and senior members) as well as senior officers.

You will need to complete our online form, including your up-to-date CV and a personal statement (up to 250 words) outlining your suitability and qualifications for this role. You'll also need to provide contact details of two nominators.

What happens next - election

If more than one application is received, a vote by electronic ballot will be held after the close of applications.

Those eligible to receive the voting information will be Fellows, Senior Fellows, Ordinary Members, Senior Members, and Honorary Fellows whose primary postal address registered with the College is in the appropriate region.
