An exciting resource to provide a better understanding of the effects of substance use on the health and development of young people.
This course aims to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of children and young people affected by alcohol and drug misuse. We encourage both individuals and teams to complete the course for inspiring discussion and sharing best practice.
There are seven modules. This should take between 2 and 2.5 hours to complete.
After completing the course you will be able to:
- describe healthy adolescent development
- understand the range of factors that impact on healthy adolescent development
- recognise common sleep problems, sexual health problems and mental health problems in young people
- make your practice and service young people friendly.
