We respond to consultations so that we can influence and advocate for improvements in child health in all four UK nations. We work with members and children and young people to ensure our responses are accurate and in line with the latest evidence.

NI Executive Children and Young People’s Strategy 3 Year Delivery Plan - consultation response

In 2021 the Department of Education published the overarching 10 Year Children and Young People’s Strategy (2020 – 2030) on behalf of the NI Executive. Subsequently, in 2022, the Executive produced an initial draft three Year Delivery Plan (2021-24) and published for public consultation.

In 2018 we responded to the visit by the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights in the UK. Our submission focused on certain questions asked, including the extent of child poverty in the UK and how its evolved, the implications and whether government response has been effective.
