The prize is supported by a generous bequest from Dr Tony Jackson, former consultant paediatrician at the Royal London Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital for Children. He was an active supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, which awarded him its John Panchaud Medal.
